Consequences

Between the first and second editions, consequences changed from always having four fixed ranks, to being assigned a value. For most consequences, you can think of each rank as being a value, so: Light is 1, Moderate is 2, Severe is 3 and Critical is 4.

Wounds and Fatigue, however, ought to be adjusted upward to account for the value of the second edition’s Health score, in general, being higher than the first edition’s Wound threshold. For wounds and fatigue, multiply these values by two, so: Light is 2, Moderate is 4, Severe is 6 and Critical is 8.

Most first edition consequences have a direct analog in second edition, as shown in the table below.
